Fruit is of medium size, ovate shape and lettuce green colour. Fruit quality is good. Keeping quality is medium. It is a mid season variety.Poor fruiting in young age due to excessive fruit drop. Biennial in nature. . These trees are vigorous and spreading.It is considered suitable for slicing and canning.The leaf blades of this plant have an oval-lanceolate shape .These are flat to slightly folded.The secondary veins are arranged as sub-opposite to alternate and its apexes are acuminate to sub-acuminate.This variety is indigenous to Varanasi area of Uttar Pradesh. It is extensively grown in northern India.It shows wide adaptability. Scion characters very much dominant .This fruit retains a greenish tinge while ripening. It is normally harvested during the last half of July.
