Vaccinium myrtillus is an angiosperm which belongs to the family ericaceae and order ericales.The fruit is commonly called european blueberry,blue whortleberry blaeberry, urts , hurtleberry,huckleberry, wimberry, whinberry, winberry, blueberry,and fraughan etc.Bilberry leaf is used for different desease conditions like diarrhea, scurvy, infections, burns, and diabetes etc.Bilberries have a much stronger, more tart flavor and a rougher texture than blueberries when cooked.These fruits posses dark red, strongly fragrant flesh and red juice that turns blue in basic environments.
