Description for Vaijayanti
Many fragrant, small pink-flushed white tubular, funnel-shaped flowers appear all summer through fall. Flowers are about 1.2 cm long, and the stamens and carpel stick to the flower-tube. Chinese Abelia attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. It is also cultivated in gardens.
Planting and care
Full sun is essential with a minimum daylight temperature of 60 degrees F.
If soil is amended with compost, the flowers will grow more quickly.
